Moderation

Course Moderation

Each year our AVA Certa carry out two external moderations to confirm the achievement of the Access to HE Diploma for certification purposes. Moderation takes place twice per year: June and November.

June Moderation

It is expected that learners going forward for the June Moderation will have completed a minimum of 45 credits (including level 2) by the third week in April.

In preparation for external moderation, all learners wishing to be put forward for moderation/certification must have completed all the requirements of the Diploma (60 credits) no later than the third week of May.

Certa issue certificates within 4 weeks following external moderation. Learner contact details must be fully updated as the certificate is posted to home addresses. A replacement certificate does incur an additional cost by Certa.

November Moderation

It is expected that learners going forward for the November Moderation will have completed a minimum of 45 credits (including level 2) by the third week of September.

In preparation for external moderation, all learners wishing to be put forward for moderation/certification must have completed all the requirements of the Diploma (60 credits) no later than the third week of October.

Certa issue certificates within 4 weeks following external moderation. Learner contact details must be fully updated as the certificate is posted to home addresses. A replacement certificate does incur an additional cost by Certa.

As Part of AOLL's Quality Review All students are required to give feedback about the course and their learning experience whilst studying for the Diploma. All feedback is made available to the external Moderator.
