Since September 2020, nursing students are eligible for non-repayable funding support ranging from £5,000 to £8,000 per year, in addition to access to tuition and maintenance loans.
Allied health university students in the UK may be eligible for grants and other financial support through the NHS Learning Support Fund (NHS LSF):
- Training grant: £5,000 per year for new and continuing students
- Parental support payment: £2,000 per year to help with childcare costs
- Specialist subject payment: £1,000 per year for students on degrees that struggle to recruit
- Travel and accommodation costs: Help towards additional costs for clinical placements
- Exceptional hardship fund: Up to £3,000 per year for students who experience unforeseen financial hardship

- Study a degree that leads to registration as a healthcare professional
